Tree Impressions of Florida Environmental Services LLC has been Jason Gold's full-time work since 2004. He started in tree care from the ground up — dragging brush, running a chipper, and learning the trade from the most experienced arborists working Pinellas County at the time. Within a few years he was climbing professionally; today he has more than two decades behind him in every role from groundsman to crew lead.
What hasn't changed in twenty years is how the company runs. Jason is on every job — every walkthrough, every written quote, every final inspection. There are no estimators sent ahead, no salespeople, no subcontracted crews. The person who shows up to look at your tree is the person who'll be there the day the work happens.
Florida-specific knowledge matters here in a way it doesn't in most parts of the country. Live oaks fail differently from slash pines, sabal palms need entirely different handling than southern magnolias, and a tree that looks fine in February can be hurricane-vulnerable by July. Jason knows the species, the soils, and the storm patterns because he's been working through every named-storm season since 2004 — including Charley, Wilma, Irma, and the more recent 2022 and 2024 events that took down trees across the entire county.
That hurricane experience shapes how the crew approaches everything else, too. We trim with storm season in mind. We cable heritage oaks before they split. We replant with salt-tolerant natives that will actually thrive thirty years from now. The goal is not to maximize jobs — it's to do work that holds up for the long run on each property.

Tree Impressions of Florida Environmental Services LLC is a Florida-registered limited liability company, fully licensed to operate as a tree service across Pinellas County. We carry comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on the entire crew. Our insurance certificate is available on request before any job begins, and we encourage every homeowner to ask any tree company for the same — uninsured contractors can leave you legally and financially exposed if something goes wrong on your property.
Our climbers and ground crew train to ANSI Z133 industry safety standards and ISA-aligned tree-worker practices. Owner Jason Gold has more than 20 years of personal climbing and crew-lead experience and supervises every climbing job directly. We continuously upgrade gear and technique as the industry evolves — modern double-rope climbing, mechanical descenders, and proper rigging hardware on every tree.
We're familiar with the protected tree ordinances across Pinellas County municipalities — including Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Belleair, and Gulfport — and we handle the permit application process as part of any regulated removal. We never start cutting on a permitted tree until the paperwork is in hand.
