Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: May 5, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Tree Impressions of Florida Environmental Services LLC is committed to making our website and our services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we view accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time achievement. We continually review and improve our site as standards evolve and as we learn from customer feedback.
2. Standards
Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the level commonly referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA web compliance. We are also aware of Section 508 standards and design with both frameworks in mind. While no website achieves perfect conformance, we measure our work against these standards and remediate gaps as we identify them.
3. Features Implemented
Specific accessibility features currently implemented across the site include:
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy, lists, landmarks, and form labels throughout
- Alternative text on images: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked accordingly
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable with the keyboard alone, in a logical tab order
- Visible focus indicators: Custom focus styles make keyboard focus clearly visible on every interactive element
- Sufficient color contrast: Text and meaningful UI elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Skip-to-content link: A skip link at the top of every page lets keyboard users bypass the navigation
- ARIA landmarks: Semantic landmark roles ($header, nav, main, footer) plus aria-label on navigation regions
- Responsive design: The site is fully responsive and usable across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports without horizontal scrolling
- Reduced-motion support: The site respects the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting and disables non-essential animation when that preference is set
- Form labels and error handling: Every form input has an associated label; required fields are marked accessibly; the contact form provides clear submit feedback
4. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- Third-party embeds: The Google Maps embed on our contact page is a third-party iframe and may not fully conform to WCAG AA. If you need our service area information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will provide it.
- PDF documents: Any PDF documents we may share (insurance certificates, written estimates, invoices) may vary in accessibility depending on how they were generated. We will provide an alternative format on request.
5. Feedback and Accommodation Requests
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site or need an accommodation to access information or schedule services, please let us know. We respond to accessibility feedback promptly and we will work with you to find an alternative way to access the information or service you need.
- Email: treelifefl510@gmail.com
- Phone: (727) 263-9291
When you contact us, please include the page or feature you had trouble with and a description of the issue, along with the assistive technology and browser you were using if relevant. The more detail you can share, the faster we can help and the better we can fix the underlying issue for everyone.
6. Service Accommodations
Our accessibility commitment extends to how we deliver tree care services, not just how our website works. If using an online form is difficult for you, we are happy to take your information by phone — owner Jason Gold answers personally during business hours and on the after-hours emergency line. Written estimates can be mailed to you in a format you can read, and we offer flexible scheduling for accessibility needs at the customer property (such as wheelchair-accessible walkthrough routes, longer time blocks, or coordination with caregivers).
7. Continuous Improvement
We review the site for accessibility issues regularly and update content and code as we identify improvements. We also incorporate accessibility considerations into any new features or pages we add. Accessibility audits are part of our quality process, not a one-time check.
